Children learn about and view eclipse

Mrs. Lanning’s K+ Class enjoyed viewing the solar eclipse thanks to Mrs. Cheryl Lively of O.S.U. Extension Office in Mangum. Mrs. Lively provided Edison with 200 pairs of solar eclipse glasses from NASA. She also came and spent the day with the K+ class. She brought Mrs. Lanning’s class the coolest solar eclipse T-shirts to wear, supplies to make a U.V. bracelet, and a sack full of space themed goodies that included: a “Moon” Pie, a “Star” Crunch, a “Sun”kist, a “Milky Way”, a “Cosmic” Brownie, and a “Star”burst.

ODVA announces amendments to sales tax exemption for permanently disabled veterans

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) announces that recently enacted Senate Bill 1215 (SB1215), has eliminated a previously set deadline of July 1, 2023, for 100% permanently disabled veterans or their surviving spouses to qualify for their annual sales tax exemptions.

Nominations open for Dream Big Oklahoma awards

Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association supports registration of feral swine control bait
