A Greer County community Health Fair will be held in Mangum on Thursday, April 11 at the Living Water Church, 1600 N. Louis Tittle from 9 AM to 3 PM.

A Fish Fry is being held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church today, Friday, March 15, starting at 5 PM. It will last until all sold out.

Statewide election activity officially begins at 8 AM Wednesday, April 3, when the candidate filing period opens, the Secretary of the Greer County Election Board said today. Candidates for state offices file with the Secretary of the State Election Board.

Mangum – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that agricultural producers and private landowners can begin signing up for the general Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) that runs through March 29. This conservation opportunity gives producers tools to conserve wildlife habitat while achieving other conservation benefits, including sequestering carbon and improving water quality and soil health.

Early voting begins Thursday, March 28 for voters in Greer County who are eligible to vote in the Duke School Bond Election. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.
