Cameron announces Summer 2023 honor rolls

Cameron University has announced the President’s and Dean’s honor rolls for the Summer 2023 semester. To make the President’s Honor Roll, undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time (carrying at least six hours of classes for the summer semester) and maintain a straight-A (4.0) average. The Dean’s Honor Roll requires a B (3.00-3.99) average.
Pae Praises Aspen Institute’s policy recommendations following international discussions

OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Daniel Pae, R-Lawton, participated in the Aspen Institute Germany’s Laboratories of Democracy Initiative, a transatlantic exchange program, and worked with fellow legislators from the United States and Germany to develop recommendations to improve transatlantic relations. The report was released on Monday, Aug. 28.

SWODA grant brings new fire truck to Jester

Greer County received a grant from Southwestern Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA) for the purchase of the 2002 fully equipped Ford Fire Truck for the Jester Fire Department. SWODA opened grants for unincorporated fire departments late last year and Greer County was able to apply for four different unincorporated fire departments which include Jester, Hester, Russell, and Reed.

OSU celebrates enrollment records as fall semester begins

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State University set a new record for highest undergraduate enrollment in school history as it welcomed students to campus Monday. With 21,219 undergraduate students enrolled for the fall semester, a record-setting fulltime freshman class (4,686 students) and highest ever enrollment on the Stillwater campus (25,174), the university continues to show positive enrollment trends.
