Sheriff ’s Office reminds all that riverbed areas are private property

The Greer County Sheriffs Department has had several calls from landowners that own the properties that our rivers and streams, or riverbeds run through, regarding individuals being out on their private property on ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, on foot, or even horseback. While being out on the riverbeds can be fun, please know that the riverbed, or stream bed is private property.
