South Western Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA) will be in Mangum on April 5 to do Narcan training with the documentary “Dead or Alive.” The event will be held at the Red River Cowboy Church, 1001 N. Byers, from 7 to 8:30 PM.

Several hikes and other events are scheduled at Quartz Mountain State Park in April. Ahead of the the April events, an easy hike is being held this Sunday, March 31 with the naturalist at Eagle’s Roost ATV area. This hike will be to identify different rocks in the park. If you would like to participate, just meet a the state park office at 12 noon.
