Lady Tigers District Champs!

Turning the calendar to another January, I wonder what this year is going to bring. Exciting fishing trips, heart-racing hunts, and making memories with my family come to mind. Well, we here at the Wildlife Department also have some things on the Outdoor Oklahoma radar that we want to share with you.

This is basically a small regionals tournament for us! Some very very tough teams we competed against these past two days and the Mangum Tigers didn’t shy away from any competition! Blood, Sweat and Tears! Wrestling is a physical sport and makes many kids into men! SUPER proud of em! Trey Williams 2nd Will McGee 5th Jonathan Allgood 6th Lane Burnam 3rd Jonathan McGee 3rd Aiden Augustine 3rd Cooper Kerbo 6th.

Some athletes enjoy getting out and competing for their sport because they love the game or they love competition. But for people like Morgan White, the name across the jersey is more than just a name of their school.

“I am a fifth generation Mangum Tiger and my community and school mean so much to me,” she said. “And I hope with my leadership skills on and off the court  and field that I can always lead by good example of sportsmanship and respect.”
